Christ Fellowship Baptist Church has an array of ministries that you will find not only addresses your individual and familial needs, but provides great opportunities for Christian service.

The Diaconate Ministry is comprised of the Deacon and Deaconess Boards.  This ministry’s mission is to assist the Pastor in the overall planning and organizing of the church’s activities; ensure the policies are being administered; and aid the Pastor in helping all people to become devoted followers of Christ through study of the Word, prayer and fellowship.  This ministry administers Holy Communion and conducts mid-week prayer service and orientation for our new members.   

Meetings are held monthly, every Wednesday before the First Sunday at 7:00 p.m.

  The Trustees Ministry exists to provide financial accounting and bookkeeping services for the Church and to conduct sound financial decisions in a manner that will benefit the Church as a whole. This ministry is involved in and responsible for giving leadership to the Annual Conference on Finance, at which time the Church body is informed of the Church’s financial state and budget for the following fiscal year.                                                                                                                 

Meetings are held monthly on every Third Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.

  The mission of the Education Ministry is to educate and promote the knowledge of Jesus Christ through faithful and constant Bible-focused classes and programs for all ages. This ministry also gives oversight to the Youth and Teen Ministries and aims to aid them in developing Christian character, promoting spiritual growth and discipleship through education, fellowship and service, and assisting them in developing overall leadership skills.

Meetings are held monthly on every last Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.

  The Missionary Ministry seeks to promote the love of Christ by serving those in need in both the church family and the community (i.e., hospitals, nursing homes, homebound individuals, etc.), and to promote the gospel in an effort to reconcile lives to God through Jesus Christ. This ministry is involved in and/or sponsors the following activities: providing repast services to the families in their time of the bereavement, Thanksgiving Day Food Drive, and an Annual Coat and Clothing Drive.                 Meetings are held monthly every Wednesday before the Third Sunday at 7:00 p.m.

 The mission of the Women of the Word Ministry is to aid in the development of women in Christ through the consistent study of the Word of God, focus on women’s issues and provide support through prayer groups. The ministry is involved in and/or sponsors the following activities: Women’s Retreats and Prayer Breakfasts and the Christmas Toy Drive.

Meetings are held monthly every Wednesday before the Second Sunday at 7:00 p.m.

 The mission of the Imani Men’s Ministry is to worship and glorify God, draw souls closer to Christ through witness and testimony, strengthen the men of God by enhancing their knowledge of the Scriptures, mentor the younger males of the congregation, and see to the needs of the Church body by providing security and protection. This ministry is involved in and/or sponsors the following activities: Annual Men’s Retreat and/or Prayer Breakfasts.

Meetings are held monthly, every Third Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.

 The Ushers Ministry  is comprised of the Senior Usher Board and the Junior Usher Board.  The ministry’s mission is to provide service to the congregation in the areas of seating, program distribution and overall direction during the worship experience.  The Ministry sponsors an annual Four Seasons Tea and attends fellowship events throughout the year with Sister Churches.

Meetings are held monthly on every Wednesday before the First Sunday at 6:30 p.m.

  The Faith Counselors Ministry exists to support new members of our congregation in remaining steadfast in their decision to unite with Christ.  The ministry sponsors quarterly breakfasts for new members and provides them the opportunity to meet the church leadership in a smaller and informal environment.                                                                                           

Meetings are held every Wednesday before the Second Saturday at 7:00 p.m.

 The Nurses Ministry strives to provide assistance to the ministerial staff and stand ready to provide emergency first aid service to the entire congregation. This ministry is involved in annual fellowship events with Sister Churches.

Monthly meetings are held every Wednesday before the Fourth Sunday at 6:30 p.m.

 The Music Ministry exists to lift the name of Jesus, witness to the lost and edify the spirit through song. The ministry is comprised of six choirs:  Voices of Fellowship, Gospel Chorus, Male Chorus, Ambassadors for Christ Choir, Inspirational Choir, and the Angelic Choir, in addition to the Praise Team.  This ministry is responsible for praise and worship through song at all worship services, scheduled fellowship events, and our annual All Choir Day.

 The Shepherd’s Ministry strives to provide assistance to the Pastor both at home and when he is called to serve outside of New York City. They host many activities, including an Autumn Auction and Winter Wonderland, and execute pastoral anniversary celebrations.

 The Hospitality Ministry seeks to cheerfully welcome both members and visitors to our worship services by greeting them at the door with the love of Christ.

  The Drama Ministry uses dramatic art to minister to and visually spread the Gospel while allowing those interested to work either onstage or behind the scenes.

  The Dance Ministry’s mission is to worship and praise God and promote the gospel through dance. This ministry hosts Dance Explosion! annually and attends fellowship events throughout the year to minister as guests of Sister Churches.

  The Athletic Ministry’s mission is to witness and promote the love of Christ by integrating sports (with a focus on fitness) and fellowship activities. The ministry hosts a bowling league and welcomes all who are interested regardless of your skill level.
